GB series basically offer a modern take on the classic Precision and Jazz Bass concepts. They come with double-cut bodies, passive electronics and two additional frets (fingerboards feature 22, instead of traditional 20 frets).
GB35J is a modern rendition of a classic five-stringed J bass. It rocks an offset body, bolted neck and J/J pickups combo. The body of this affordable J clone is made entirely of agathis (a tonewood used extensively as substitute for both alder and mahogany), while the neck is made of hard Canadian maple. 22-fret fingerboard atop the bridge is made of rosewood (large frets, block inlays and 9-1/2" radius).
Passive Cort single-coils form the pickups combo. They come with two volume knobs and one tone knob. Hardtail bridge and open-gear tuners complete the specs list.
