Classic Vibe Jazz Bass `60s is being refreshed for 2014 and 15 with some new color options and cool appointments. This new JB kicks off with a solid and double-cut body made in the style of the 1960s Jazz Basses. It is made of basswood, which is series-wide standard body wood. Solid, flat and with offset waist, body of this new `60s Jazz is available in two color options - Inca Silver and Olympic White. Both are finished in gloss and fit with chrome-plated hardware. Also, both feature white pickguards. Previous incarnation of this model was available only in Olympic White with tortoise pickguard. On the top, this marvelous four-stringer features a hardtail bridge with four adjustable saddles and top-load construction. In front of it, there are two Custom Single-Coil Jazz Pickups. One in the bridge and the other in the middle position. Standard controls unit follows. Master tone and two volume knobs which also double as pickups selector. Maple neck is equipped with a modern C contour (standard for the entire Squier catalog) in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Vintage frets with dot inlays, 1.50" wide synthetic bone nut and 9.50" radius complete the fingerboard. Classic `60s headstock is fit with a set of four Fender vintage tuners. Inca Silver option has a color-matched headstock, while the Olympic White has a natural one.
