Metalman 2A ML bass is a four-stringed instrument with a solid and single-cut body with mixed Explorer/Flying V heritage (back in the 1970s, Dean Guitars were just starting out and in need of original, recognizable body shapes, Dean Zelinsky made an Explorer/Flying V hybrid, naming it ML). This ML features the 34" scale, four-string construction, bolted neck and black color scheme with black hardware (black is the official color of the Metalman range of electric basses). Body of this outstanding intermediate bass is solid, single-cut and made of basswood. Standard hardware features on it`s top include the four-saddled bass with black plating and a pair of humbucking pickups. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it features the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
