ESP has decided to breathe new life into Stream series` lungs with a multitude of guitar and bass updates all over the 2016 NAMM introductions lineup. ESP Original and E-II guitars and LTD and E-II basses with classic Stream design are coming on strong. In the LTD section of the range, ESP introduces three models and Stream-1004FM is one of two 1000 models (the other being 1005FM). It is a single-cut bass with carved-top body, bolted neck and active EMG electronics. This beast is available in Walnut Brown with gloss finish and black hardware. Stream-1004FM is a big, bulky bass guitar with a solid, single-cut body made of swamp ash back and solid flamed maple top. Classic Stream series pickguard has been omitted in favor of the gorgeous matched top. The neck is made of five pieces of maple and bubinga and has a standard Thin U contour in the back. On its top, there is a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (15.75" radius, block inlays, 1.57" nut). EMG`s 25JX (bridge) and 35P4X come with a simple controls unit and enough firepower to blast through every mix, both live and in studio. Hipshot A style bridge and Hipshot tuners complete the specs list.
