Stream series is being heavily updated and pretty refreshed for the 2016 season. Many novelties featuring the iconic Stream design have been introduced this January in Anaheim, Ca. Besides the expected numbers in the six-string segment, ESP has also introduced several Stream basses. Three of them are found in the LTD range and one is placed in the E-II range. Stream-1005FM is a five-string bass of the top LTD tier (1000) and is equipped with only the best LTD has to offer. This means EMG electronics, bookmatched maple top and Hipshot hardware. Honey Natural is the only color option. Stream-1005FM kicks off with a solid and single-cut body made of swamp ash back and flamed maple top. There is no binding around the top and the pickguard has been omitted to boast the beautiful top. Five-piece maple/rosewood neck rocks the standard U profile in the back and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (1.77" molded nut, block inlays, XJ frets and 15.75" radius). EMG`s 40JX in the bridge and 40P5X in the neck comprise one of the mightiest pickup combos on the market. These puppies can cut through any and every mix live and in studio, regardless. Hipshot`s A-style bridge with five saddles and Hipshot tuners complete the specs list.
