TA-604 FRX is the continuation of Tom Araya`s signature line in ESP/LTD catalog. It is a ferocious four-string beast with a long 35" scale and neck-through-body construction. It is a thoroughbred metal machine designed and made to cut through Slayer mix (meaning it cuts through any mix). Currently, there`s only one color option available, the sinister Black Satin with black hardware. 604 was introduced this January at 2016 NAMM Show, along with the rest of the ESP and LTD novelties. TA-604 is a double-cut bass with hyper-modern FRX shape with heavily carved top. Wings of the body are made of solid maple, as is the neck which runs through the center. Three-piece neck is fast, slim and very comfortable (604`s built for speed metal, after all). It features a contoured heel in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Pentagram inlays, 1.57" molded nut, 15.75" radius and extra jumbo frets are featured on the fingerboard. EMG`s 35DC humbuckers are active, astonishingly powerful and clean. They come with a simple controls unit, made up of a master volume, master tone and a balance knob. LTD`s BB604 top-load bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
