Custom Shop `66 Slab Body Precision Bass is one of many P basses in custom Shop catalog. This one, despite being a tribute to a 1966 model, features a slab body. This means it is not contoured in the back (very similar to the Telecaster body concept). This slab-bodied Precision Bass is made of alder and it`s paired with a maple neck through the bolt-on joint. Fender Custom Shop offers this unique P Bass in Olympic White color with chrome hardware, black pickguard and gloss finish. On the top, there is a vintage-styled hardtail bridge with a metal cover over it. Middle-positioned pickup in the front, also features the cover. maple neck is fit with a C contour in the back and a 20-fret maple fingerboard on the top.
