Jaco Pastorius is one of the biggest and most revered icons of jazz music and was one of the most prolific players ever. Currently, Fender`s Custom Shop offers the Jaco Pastorius Tribute Jazz Bass model. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of alder and a bolted maple neck. Body of this outstanding four-stringer is offered in 3 Color sunburst and features all the scratches, dents and bumps, Jaco`s original Jazz Bass had. It is finished in gloss and features worn chrome hardware. Pickups on this model are passive and feature the classic J/J arrangement. Standard controls unit is installed with them. Bridge is a hardtail and it features string-through-body construction. C-shaped maple neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
