Custom Collection from Fender`s Custom Shop is renewed and refreshed for 2013 edition of the catalog. It features ten models, in total. Eight of them are six-stringed guitars and two are basses. Both basses are Precision Basses and this one is named Closet Classic Precision Bass Pro. This model comes with a solid, double-cut body made of alder. Classic contour of the P bass is featured on this model and it`s combined with beautiful vintage-styled decorations and hardware. There is no top wood cover on this alder-made body and Fender has not assigned any type of binding to this model. Bridge section is equipped with a four-saddle hardtail bridge. It features top-load construction with strings not going through the body. Bridge is plated in chrome, as is the rest of the hardware. Pickups are installed in J/P configuration with bridge pickup being single and the middle pickup having split humbucker form. They`re made by Semour Duncan. Controls are made up of master tone and two volume knobs. Maple neck on this model is bolted to the body and equipped with oval C contour in the back. It`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
