Adam Clayton and U2 need no introduction, as their music has been making this world a better place for over thirty years. Through numerous albums and thousands upon thousands of concerts around the globe, these Irish rockers have created one of the biggest fan bases ever. After almost forty years in U2, Adam Clayton, one of the hardst working bass players in rock`n`roll community finally gets a long due reward for his contributions. Fender has made a signature Adam Clayton Jazz Bass based on Adam`s own modified Jazz, his number one stage and studio bass. It comes with a classic Jazz Bass body clad in Sherwood Green with glossy finish. On the top, there is a four-saddled hardtail bridge (both top-load and string-through versions are available), as well as a pair of vintage-styled Custom Shop `60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups with a standard controls unit. Maple neck is bolted to the body and features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top. Set of four vintage-styled tuning machines, block inlays, synthetic bone nut and a standard 34" scale complete the specs list.
