American Original series is the latest addition to Fender`s legendary American range. The series` initial lineup features 14 models (10 guitars, 4 basses), with every major body shape and era getting a model. American Original `60s Jazz Bass is one of four starting four-stringers. It will be available in three variants - Olympic White, Candy Apple Red, and 3-Color Sunburst (all three will have nitrocellulose lacquer finish, chrome/nickel hardware, black plastics). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut alder body (offset waist, tortoise pickguard), a maple neck (slim `60s C profile, lacquer finish), a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.48" string nut, 34" scale, 9.5" radius, dot inlays, vintage tall frets), a four-saddled hardtail bridge, Pure Vintage `64 single-coil pickups, and vintage Fender tuners.
