American VIntage series is a line of vintage-styled basses which pay homage to specific models from the past. American Vintage '57 Precision Bass follows in the footsteps of the original 1957 model. It has a solid and double-cut body made of alder. Back in the beginning, back in 1949, 1950, Fender was using bodies made of swamp ash and by the mid 1950s, the entire catalog was switched to alder. American Vintage '57 Precision features classic 34" scale, bolted neck, vintage tuning machines, vintage decorations and chrome hardware. Vintage bridge on this bass is fit with four saddles and is plated in chrome. Pickups combo in the front features one P pickup in the middle position. Vintage C contour is featured on the maple neck. On it`s top, there is a 20-fret maple fingerboard.
