American Vintage Electric Bass Guitars by Fender
American Vintage Electric Bass Guitars by Fender
American Vintage series deals with, as it`s name says, vintage-styled basses and guitars. What sets this series apart is the fact that it contains models which are tributes and replicas of the specific models from various years (mostly 1950s and 1960s), instead of just featuring popular retro decorations from that period. One of the best examples from this series is the American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass. It comes with a solid and double-cut alder body which is paired with a bolted maple neck. Back in the beginning, Fender used swamp ash bodies, but by the mid 1950s, entire catalog was shifted to alder bodies. Vintage bridge on this four-string axe is covered with a metal plate and fronted with two classic single-coils. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
