Fender`s Select Series brings novelties in bass department as well. Here is a solid bodied double cutaway Select Precision Bass with a body made of alder back and flamed maple top. The flat top features white plastic pickguard and no binding. This model is available in two color sunburst with gloss lacquer finish. The bridge is a vintage styled bridge with four saddles and a choice between string-through-body and top loader construction. The bridge is plated in chrome and nickel. Pickup department is equipped with one P pickup in the bridge position. The pickup is Fender Select Precision pickup. It is controlled through master volume and master tone knobs. the neck on this model is made of flamed maple with modern C contour and bolt-on joint. It is finished in satin lacquer. The fingerboard is made of flamed maple and equipped with 20 medium jumbo sized frets and black dot position inlays. The fingerboard also features compound radius with starting 9.50" at nut and top 14". The string nut is made of synthetic bone and measures 1.625" in width. Other features include nickel/chrome hardware, Fender vintage styled tuning machines and 34" scale length. The MSRP for Select Precision Bass is set at $3,199.99.
