Standard Jazz Bass comes in two basic variants, four and five-string construction. This one is a five-stringer and it features the standard 34" scale, the same as the four-string model. Besides the string count, these two are pretty much one same model. Standard Jazz Bass V comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder. Alder is Fender`s favorite tonewood for bodies, while the maple is dominant in the neck construction. Both rosewood and maple are used for fingerboards on Fender four, five and six-stringers. This particular Jazz Bass features a wide color palette with gloss finishes and chrome hardware. Four-saddled bridge is fronted with a pair of Jazz pickups with standard controls. Maple neck on this model is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Good warm sound passive jazz bass. Is has its own timbre so don't expect it to be more bright or to sound like something else. Enjoy it as it is.
