Vortex Bass Deluxe is currently the only member of the Vortex four-string division. It belongs to the De Luxe tier, along with the majority of basses Fernandes produces these days.
Vortex Bass Deluxe is a four-string bass with a solid and flat body made of soft maple. The classic V body rocks the beveled edges and ubiquitous all-black paint job. The neck is made of maple and its attached to the body via the set in joint. On top of the neck, Fernandes installs a modern 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets, dot inlays and 14" radius.
Vortex Bass Deluxe comes with a pair of EMG 35DC humbuckers with a super simple controls unit (master volume, 3-way pickup switch). Two-piece bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
