Soulman Bass models from Framus are among few basses produced under the Framus name. The parent company Warwick is in charge of the majority of bass series and models. Soulman 4 kicks off with a solid, double cutaway body with offset waist, similar to the one Jazz Bass has. It is made of ash. There are no top woods, bindings or pickguards on this model. The bridge is a single piece fixed one. In the bridge department MEC provides a pair of J-styled pickups. Master volume, blend and stacked bass/treble knobs are included into the controls section on this Soulman. The neck is made of three pieces of ovangkol and it is bolted to the body. Rosewood fingerboard comes with 21 frets with no position inlays on them.

Excellent bass, well built, great tone and playability, lighter weight than a Fender Jazz bass. Although I own other basses, this is my go to bass. Hard to find though, very limited production, likely unavailable from Framus, as it is out of production
