Tobias Growler is a model from the famous Tobias series of electric basses. This series is produced by both Gibson USA and Epiphone. Epiphone`s side of the series caters to lower portions of the market, while the Gibson USA Tobias models aim at upper intermediate and upscale sections. Tobias Growler is a solid and double-cut bass with 34" scale, set in neck construction and black hardware. It`s body is made of ash and it`s finished in gloss. This flat-top four-stringer is fit with a standard four-saddled hardtail bridge and single middle-positioned pickup. The humbucker is active and has a complex controls unit installed along it`s side. Neck is made of maple and purple heart laminates and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
