G2202 Electromatic Junior Jet is one of the most affordable electric basses in Gretsch catalog. It is based on the popular Jet series of six-stringed electric guitars. G2202 comes with a solid and single-cut body, short 30" scale, one minibucker pickup and bolt-on neck. Body of this model is solid, single-cut and made of basswood. It is paired with a bolt-on maple neck. Black is the main color scheme for G2202 and it comes finished in gloss. It has a white pickguard and chrome hardware. Hardtail bridge is installed on the top, instead of elegant two-piece bridge. In the front, instead of two, there`s only one (middle position) TV Jones minibucker pickup. Maple neck is topped with a 19-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
