Super Swede Bass was created a long time ago, by Per-Ake Olsson (Hagstrom`s Head of Design in 1980) and Rutger Gunnarsson of ABBA fame. Today`s Swede is more than a worthy successor to Sweden`s most famous bass guitar ever made.
Super Swede Bass is available in Black Gloss, Natural Mahogany and Indian Summer color options, has a full 34" scale and Hagstrom electronics. The double-cut body is made of mahogany (mahogany wings, glued onto the mahogany neck), as is the neck. The neck is topped with a 20-fret resinator fingerboard with medium jumbo frets, 1.57" nut and block inlays. Pair of hand-wound Lundgren Jazzbass "Vintage" single-coil pickups delivers the classic Super Swede tone. Four independent and adjustable saddles form the bridge, while the die-cast tuners close the specs list.
