AGB200 was introduced as a new model at the NAMM Show earlier this year. It was one of four Artcore bass novelties at Ibanez booth. This is not a completely new model, as it is mae as a successor of an Artcore model with the same name. Nevertheless, AGB200 is an exciting addition to the series. It comes with a fully hollow body made of maple back, sides and top. Single-cut design is matched with a traditional set in neck joint construction. Top is carved and equipped with several layers of binding. "f" holes are featured on the sides of the bridge and they have the matching binding. There is no pickguard on the top. Bridge is a traditional Gibraltar III two-piece with chrome plating and top-load construction. Pickups in the front are made by Ibanez and they come in slim humbucker casings. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch are featured in the controls unit. Thin maple/mahogany neck with Artcore contour and 30.3" scale give this model more of a guitar feel. On top of the neck Ibanez installs a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
