AFB200 is a brand new model placed within the Artcore series of electric basses. It is based upon the old AFB200 introduced a few years ago. This new AFB200 is a fully hollow-bodied bass with set neck construction. Body is single-cut and features medium depth. This feature gives AFB200 powerful projection and rock solid tone. Entire body is made of plain maple and it is combined with a maple/mahogany neck. This combination of tone woods gives a bit more brightness and clarity, while still retaining the strong and tight low end. Bound top is carved and equipped with a pair of "f" holes. Elevated pickguard is also featured on the top. Bridge section is a traditional one and it features a fixed wooden bridge with trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Pickups in the front are humbuckers made by Ibanez. ACHB humbuckers are featured in both the bridge and neck positions. Neck is made of three pieces of wood, it is set and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
