Artcore series is making a big expansion this year. Artcore Vintage series in the Hollow Body segment started with a set of four vintage-styled guitars which set the tone for the rest of the Artcore updates. Another Bass series has received three new models, all styled after the beautiful Artcore Vintage guitars. AFBV200A is one of the three. It is a beautiful single-cut bass with hollow body, four strings and a short 30-3/10" scale. Specially tailored pickups & electronics unit mimics the recent development in the six-string camp, as does the hardware unit. Tobacco Burst Low Gloss finish is another loan from the new Artcore Vintage lineup. AFBV200A kicks off with a single-cut body made entirely of maple and a glued-in maple/mahogany neck. Beautiful sound board is carved, bound in black, topped with a plastic pickguard. Pair of vintage "f" holes completes the theme. Three-piece neck rocks the four-string version of the standard Artcore profile and is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Classic Elite minibuckers offer a surprising mix of modern and vintage features, as well as a six-string-like controls unit (master volume, master tone, 3-way pickup switch). ABR-W bridge with vintage trapezoid tailpiece and modern/vintage tuners guarantee exceptional tuning stability.
