Artcore series has been the mainstay of the Hollow Body range ever since its inception back in 2002. Over the years, Vintage, Expressionist, and Vintage Expressionist sub-series were introduced, but the main Artcore line still remains the most popular and the most populous one. AGS73FM is an affordable semi-hollow axe (sells for around $500) made with superbly elegant styling, passive electronics, 22-fret fingerboard, and thinline construction. Transparent Black Sunburst and Violin Sunburst are currently the only available color options. Other important features include an all-maple body (white binding, elevated pickguard unbound "f" holes), a mahogany neck (AGS Artcore profile, gloss finish, set-in joint), a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (block inlays, 1.69" nut, 12" radius), an ART-1 bridge (w/Quick Change III tailpiece), a set of Classic Elite pickups, and die-cast tuners.
