Dark Brown Burst
ATK series boasts fantastic versatility of tone, super solid construction and great build quality. Also, it is aimed at players who prefer vintage styling over the modern aggressive design. ATKs come in four and five-string variants and 2014 lineup has been updated with two models (one four and one five-stringer). ATK2015 introduced at 2014 NAMM is an updated and refreshed 2015 introduced at the last year`s NAMM. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of ash and a bolt-on neck made of three pieces of maple. These two tonewoods give a snappy response and are pretty well balanced. On the top, ATK2015 (2014)`s body features the massive ATK bridge (this thing`s way bigger than Tele bridge and the vintage three-piece installations on the jazz guitars). In it`s front, Ibanez installs the bridge-positioned triple-bucker pickup. Master volume knob, three-way toggle pickup switch and a three-band equalizer are featured in the controls section. Maple neck is fit with the vintage ATK contour in the back and is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
