ATK Premium series is one of the latest catalog updates from Ibanez and it represents a middle line between the ATK Prestige and regular ATK. These ATK Premium basses come with solid, double cut bodies made of ash. Such is the cas with ATK800E, it is solid, double cut and flat on the top. Top wood covers and binding are left out of the specs list. Though, the pickguard is retained. There`s only one color option in the palette and it is Walnut Flat, the satin-finished walnut color. For this initial period no other color options were assigned to the models of this series. Same as the ATK805E, ATK800E features an ATK bass bridge, but this time it has four saddles. CAP double humbucker is installed in the bridge position and CAP single coil in the neck position. Master volume and balance knobs are accompanied by a three-band equalizer and three-way toggle switch. This switch is used to chose the configuration of the double humbucker. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and equipped with an ATK contour in the back. This bolted neck is topped with a maple fingerboard. 22 medium frets, black dot inlays, 9.45" radius and 1.673" nut complete the fingerboard. Chrome hardware and 34" scale complete the specs list.
