BTB badge is a sign of great tone and great build quality. Since the very inception of the series, BTB models have stood out as tone machines with style. Over the years, only more tone, more build quality and more style has been infused into the mix. 2016 models (BTB1605E and BTB1606E) are absolute stunners. There`s no style or genre they can`t cover and they look majestic with their new poplar burl tops. BTB1606E is the new king of the Premium bass range and it raises the bar to completely new heights. BTB1606E has a 35" scale, neck-through-body construction and magnificent Nordstrand electronics. The body of this giant is made of mahogany wings, wenge/bubinga/maple neck in the center and gorgeous poplar burl top. Nine-piece neck has a fast and smooth BTB6 profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Offset dot inlays, 2.12" nut and 37.4" radius are featured on the fingerboard. Nordstrand`s "Big Single" pickups, together with the extended controls unit, give the players endless possibilities. Top this already impressive list off, Ibanez throws in a six-saddled Monorail bridge and a set of deluxe tuners.
