Until very recently, fretless technology has been reserved for only the expensive and hard to obtain basses. It was also most commonly linked with one-off and boutique models. But, thanks to Ibanez and its GIO segment, fretless basses have become available even to beginners.
GSR200BF is the most affordable fretless option in the entire Ibanez catalog. It offers a flat-top SR body, bolted neck, standard 34" scale, and passive electronics. Walnut Flat is the only member of the color palette. Key construction features include a solid mahogany body (multi-part construction, flat top), maple neck (GSR4 profile, satin finish), and a rosewood fingerboard (22-fret long fingerboard with marked "fret positions" and dot inlays).
Simple B10 bridge, die-cast tuners, and Dynamix J/P pickups complete the list of major features.
