Brown Mahogany
SR500 represents the true middle class in the standard SR series. It is equipped with some of the most often seen appointments in this series. It kicks off with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany. Mahogany is the base for the strong and versatile tone SR models are known and respected for. M models have maple bodies, while the budget-friendly and beginner SR basses have bodies made of agathis. There is no top wood cover on this one. Bridge section on the top is equipped with a standard four-saddled hardtail bridge with cosmo black plating. Soapbar pickups installed in the front have a standard controls unit. Neck is made of wenge and bubinga and is bolted to the body. On it`s top, there`s a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
