Tier 1300 is the lowest among the currently active tiers of Ibanez`s SR (Sound Gear) electric bass range. It has three models: 1300 (four strings), 1305 (five strings), and 1306 (six strings). All three offer the same quality as the rest of the series` lineup, only with a modest and stripped-down styling. The SR1300 (four-stringer) comes in with a solid and double-cut SR body (mahogany base, ash/walnut top), a five-piece bolt-on neck (panga panga/purpleheart construction, Atlas-4 shape, recessed joint), a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (abalone inlays, medium frets, 34" scale, 12" radius), a four-saddled Ibanez Monorail bridge, Nordstrand`s Big Single passive pickups (3-band EQ, vol, balance, EQ on/off switch, mid frequency switch), and locking Gotoh tuners.
