The 2018 lineup brings a multitude of new SR models, with all of the models being distributed between SR Standard, SR Premium, and Ibanez Bass Workshop. There are no new models introduced into the luxurious SR Prestige. SR Premium series has received six models distributed between 1700, 1800 and 2600 tiers (all three have one four-stringer and one five-stringer). SR1705BE is available in Natural (w/gloss finish, gold-plated hardware, matching headstock). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut SR body (mahogany base, poplar burl/walnut top, natural binding), a panga panga/purpleheart neck (5-piece construction, bolt-on joint, titanium reinforcements), a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (1.77" nut, 12" radius, 34" scale), a five-saddle Monorail bridge, passive Nordstrand pickups, and die-cast tuners.
