SR Premium series offers a mix of exclusive SR Prestige and affordable SR Standard features. Depending on the tier, Premiums have more or less exclusive features. Traditionally, the 1800 and 1900 tiers are considered the top of the line and almost comparable to the Prestige series. 2018 lineup brings a brand new 1800 tier, made up of a four-string model (SR1820E) and a five-string model (SR1825E). SR1820E is available in Natural Low Gloss (w/matching headstock, gold-plated hardware, black plastics, natural binding) and offers a solid, double-cut SR body (mahogany base, walnut/flame maple top), a 5-piece panga panga/purpleheart neck (Atlas-4 profile, KTS titanium rod reinforcements, bolt-on joint), a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (34" scale, 1.5" nut, 12" radius), a Monorail bride, Nordstrand pickups, and die-cast tuners.
