SR250 is one of the basic models of the standard SR range. It is being introduced for 2014 and it ranks just below the SR300 models. Main purpose of the SR250 is practice and rehearsal activities. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with flat top and bolt-on neck joint construction. Body of this model is made of basswood in it`s entirety and is paired with a classic three-piece maple neck. Ibanez offers three color options for this model: Metallic Silver Sunburst, Candy Apple and Pearl White. All three are finished in gloss and all come with black hardware. Bridge section is fit with an Accu-cast bridge with four saddles. CAP EXF-N2 humbuckers in the front are passive and Ibanez installs the standard controls unit along them. Master volume, balance and a three-band equalizer are featured in the controls section. Three-piece maple neck is fit with the fast and smooth SR contour in the back and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
