The legendary SR300 is the champion of the lower intermediate class. With over two decades of SR series experience, it has been created for precisely defined purpose, to be the best learning and practicing bass in the world. Sales figures and reputation of this affordable four-stringer testify that the Ibanez has pretty much succeeded in their undertaking. Every year, or two, Ibanez refreshes the SR300, and it is again being refreshed for 2014. This new variant comes with pretty much the same formula as it`s predecessor. It rocks the solid and double-cut agathis body in combination with a five-piece maple/rosewood neck. There are six color options available for this model; they`re all finished in gloss and fit with black hardware. Accu-cast B120 bridge is installed on the top, along with CAP EXF-N2 passive humbuckers. Master volume, balance knob and three-band equalizer are featured in the controls section. Five-piece neck is bolted to the body and it`s topped with a series standard rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium-sized frets, 1.50" string nut, dot inlays and 12" radius. Set of four die-cast tuning machines on the headstock completes the specs list.
