Legendary SR series (also known as Sound Gear and SoundGear) was introduced back in 1987, the same year which saw debuts of S, RG and JEM ranges (all of which are still main pillars of the Ibanez/Hoshino Gakki catalog). It`s main concept is a solid, double-cut bass with dual pickups, fast bolt-on neck and 24-fret fingerboard. SR30th5PE steps away from the original concept and brings a brand new, semi-hollow type of SR body. SR30th5PE`s body is made of bubinga top (with modern, offset sound holes), ash middle and mahogany back. It is paired with a five-piece wenge/bubinga neck (with Atlas 5 profile in the back and 24-fret wenge fingerboard on top). Five-saddled Monorail V bridge, Nordstrand pickups and die-cast tuners complete this Premium-level five-stringer.
