SR30th4PE is one of four 30th anniversary Soundgear series models. It was unveiled at this year`s NAMM, as part of SR Premium series. As opposed to the classic SR concept, 30th Anniversary models come in with semi-hollow bodies. SR30th4PE starts off with a modern SR body (double-cut, carved top), which is made of bubinga top (with fancy sound holes on the bass side), ash middle and mahogany back. Natural Low Gloss is the only available color option (gold hardware, semi-gloss finish). The neck is made of five pieces of wenge and bubinga (with Atlas profile and KTS titanium rods). 24-fret wenge fingerboard (with abalone inlays, 1.50" TUSQ nut and 12" radius) tops the neck. Nordstrand`s Big Single soapbar-sized pickups, Monorail V bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
