Just like the SR Premium and SR Standard, SR Prestige models are made for contemporary players who are looking for the ultimate playability and tone. SR5000 is a four-string bass with a 34" scale, bolt-on neck construction, 24-fret fingerboard and Bartolini electronics. It rocks a carved-top SR body made of mahogany/wenge base and wenge top. Five-piece wenge/bubinga neck features Atlas-4 profile in the back and a wenge fingerboard on top. Custom-made Bartolini soapbar pickups (passive) deliver some of the finest tones ever heard on an SR bass. Four-saddled Mono Rail bridge and deluxe tuners complete the specs list.
