SR Prestige is one of Ibanez`s most luxurious and advanced series of electric basses. Its models come in with four number designations, 4000 and 5000, most commonly. They feature the best tonewoods, electronics, hardware and craftsmanship Ibanez has to offer. SR5005 is a five-string bass with modern carved-top SR body, bolt-on neck, 34" scale, Bartolini pickups and Ibanez electronics. Natural color with oil finish and gold hardware is the only color option available. The body of this five-string beauty is made of mahogany/wenge back and wenge top. The five-piece neck consists of three pieces of wenge and two pieces of bubinga and sports a 24-fret wenge fingerboard on top. Bartolini Custom soapbar pickups fill the bridge and neck positions. Monorail bridge and deluxe tuners wrap the specs list.
