Back in the day, when Sound Gear series was treading its first steps on the market, huge majority of bass players played the big, uncomfortable basses with 50`s and 60`s design, construction and styling features. But, SR series changed the game for good, introducing guitar-like playability, perfect balance and making 24-frets a must-have feature for all modern basses. In 2016, over 25 years after its inception, SR series still leads the field. SR370EF is a brand new model and the most affordable fretless option in the SR line. Other major features include a 34" scale, super thin neck and passive electronics. SR370EF is a simple and straight forward four-stringer. Its base is made of a double-cut maple body, a fie-piece maple/rosewood neck and a fretless rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard still features fret lines and position markers (to help out the inexperienced players). Electronics section is a standard one, shared with the rest of the SR300 and SR400 models. It includes two PowerSpan humbuckers and standard controls. Tone-wise, SR370EF`s electronics unit offers a versatile, easily moldable tone, able to fit into pretty much any and every style of modern music. Accu-cast B300 bridge and die-cast tuners complete this budget-friendly four-stringer.
