Ibanez Bass Workshop Electric Bass Guitars by Ibanez
SR series has been around for full three decades (it was introduced in 1987, along with RG and S guitar series) and has seen many concepts and trends rise and fade away. Solid and double-cut body (SR-shaped), dual pickups, bolted neck and 24-fret fingerboard are hallmarks of SR range.
In recent years Ibanez has started to (mostly through Ibanez Bass Workshop) infuse the SR range with compound scale models and SRFF800 is one of them. It is a 2017 model, introduced as part of Workshop lineup. It sports a standard-shaped (ash) body, bolt-on jatoba/bubinga neck (w/SRFF4 profile) and a 24-fret fingerboard with compound scale and fanned frets.
Other important features include a four-saddled Monorail V bridge, Bartolini BH2 soapbar pickups and die-cast tuners.
