SRH concept is a brand new addition to the SR range (introduced at 2017 NAMM) and it brings elegant design, semi-hollow construction and piezo amplification (completely foregoing the traditional magnetic pickups). Four models, including this one, were introduced through the Ibanez Bass Workshop lineup.
SRH505 is a five-stringed SR bass, with bolt-on neck, 24-fret fingerboard and super fast neck profile. But, what sets it apart (and what sets apart all SRH models) is the vintage-styled semi-hollow body (mahogany back, spruce top). The neck is a standard SR feature, it is made of five pieces of jatoba and bubinga (Atlas 5 profile). 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is a standard one, as well.
Hardtail bridge with four piezo pickups and die-cast tuning machines complete this captivating five-stringer.
