Ibanez Bass Workshop Electric Bass Guitars by Ibanez
Ibanez Bass Workshop is a custom shop series, of sorts. While not fully made up of exclusive, hand-made basses, it does offer unique models. SRH505F is one of them. The currently active model is the second generation of the SRH505F introduced at 2017 NAMM. The newcomer features several tonewood changes, along with overall identical hardware, electronics, and color palette (which is made up of one option - Natural Browned Burst Flat). Core construction features of the new 505F include a semi-hollow SR body (mahogany back/sides, spruce top, "f" hole on the bass side), a jatoba/walnut neck (5-piece neck, SRH profile, bolt-on construction), a fretless panga panga fingerboard (offset dot inlays, 1.77" string nut, 34" scale), a five-saddled Aerosilk piezo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
