SRT series is much like the SR range, but with one major difference: SRT models have neck-through-body construction, instead of SR`s regular bolt-on neck joints. This difference also affects the overall construction quality, playability, tuning and intonation. SRT900DX model is, due to the neck-through construction, one of the most stable and sturdy basses around. It features a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple top. On the top, there`s a standard four-saddled bridge black plating. In it`s front, there are two very versatile soapbar pickups with series standard controls set. Neck on this model is made of five pieces of jatoba and bubinga and is fit with a super fast contour in the back. 24-fret fingerboard on the top is made of rosewood.
