Bass side of the JS range is a lot smaller than the guitar side, featuring only seven models (five Concert models and two Kelly models). One Concert is in JS2 (JS22 in guitar section) and four in JS3 (JS32) tier. JS Series Concert Bass JS3VQ is among the most affordable currently available Concert Bass options, with MSRP at $533.32. The chassis of this extended-range axe is made up of poplar body, quilt maple cap on its top (Transparent Red Burst, Transparent Cherry Burst, Transparent Black Burst), bolt-on maple neck (one-piece construction, graphite reinforcements, scarf joint) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.75 plastic nut, compound 12"-16" radius, 34" scale, Shark Fin inlays). Main hardware and electronics appointments include a Jackson HiMass bridge, die-cast Jackson tuners and High Output humbuckers (w/active EQ).
