Jay Turser is a small brand of electric guitars and basses from Mundelein, IL. They`rew owned by US Music Corporation and are a fairly young brand. Currently, Jay Turser focuses on the intermediate class of stringed instruments, aiming primarily at players who are looking for a fresh alternative to intermediate options offered by the biggest brands. JTB 440M is one of ten basses in current production. It is designed after the classic Music Man Sterling double-cut bass. Solid and double-cut body of this model features traditionally flat top and a bolt-on neck joint. On it`s top, there is a four-saddled hardtail bridge, rounded plastic pickguard and a bridge-positioned humbucking pickup. Neck is made of maple and it features a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
