Sterling by Music Man is a brand of affordable instruments, similar to Squire, which serves as a low-end Fender brand. Sterling`s bass side offers two series of electric basses, SB and Ray. Models in these series are affordable, well built and have the traditional Music Man design and construction. SB14 is currently the only model in the SB series and it features the classic double-cut Music Man design. Body is solid and made of basswood. It is paired with a bolted maple neck, which is a brand-wide standard. Black and Tobacco Sunburst options are available and they both come with gloss finish and chrome hardware. Classic four-saddled bridge and a bridge humbucker are installed on the top. Standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the specs.
