Sterling is an essential line of Music Man bass catalog. It has a long and successful history and has pretty much been played by every important player in past several decades. This kind of legacy can prove to be too much, but not for the current Classic Sterling 4. This four-stringer bears it with pride and honor. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with classic Sterling design. It`s flat on top and fit with a bolt-on neck joint. Ash is used for the body and maple for the neck. On the top of the body, Music Man installs a classic four-saddled bridge and a single humbucker in the bridge position. Oval pickguard around the pickguard is also there. Maple neck features the 22-fret fingerboard (maple and rosewood variants are available) on it`s top.
