Acoustic-Electric Basses Electric Bass Guitars by Kiesel
AC series was introduced into the Carvin catalog back in 1995, as one of the very few basses of its type. More than twenty years later, AC40 is still as rare as it was in the nineties. Some of the standard AC series features include neck-through-body construction, 24-fret fingerboard, unique double-cut design and standard 34" scale.
AC40 starts with a semi-hollow mahogany body, AAA Engelman spruce top, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Many base, top, neck and fingerboard options are available to players who want a different tone from their AC40. Also, Kiesel offers numerous hardware, electronics and cosmetics upgrades.
Other stock features, found on the basic model, include fixed ebony acoustic bridge, LR Baggs ribbon transducer (volume, treble, bass control pots) and Carvin tuners.
