LB series made its debut back in the late 70s, and has been the mainstay of the Carvin catalog since 1988. Current lineup of the LB range consists of three models, one four-stringer, one five-stringer and one six-stringer. All LB models have through-body necks, 24-fret fingerboards, double-cut P-type bodies and passive electronics. LB70 is the four-stringed variant. Its basic specs list features alder body wings, maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Numerous tonewood options and alternative tonewood combinations are available. Also, Kiesel offers further customization options in hardware, electronics and cosmetics departments. Other stock features include four-saddled Hipshot bridge (A-style bridge, string-through-body construction), Kiesel J99A single-coil pickups (passive, equipped with a simple controls unit) and Carvin premium bass tuners.
