Skyline 44-01 is the basic model of the Skyline series of electric basses made by Lakland. In this series, five models are made with Music-Man design, one with Fender and two with the hollow-bodied Gibson design. 44/01 features the Music Man-like design and is the basic model of the series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with a flat top and bolt-on neck joint. Lakland uses the series standard ash for the body of this intermediate four stringer. On the top of the body, there is the regular four-saddled hardtail bridge with chrome plating and a pair of single-coiled pickups with a simple control unit. neck on this model is made of maple and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
